Electric 90/180 Degree Turn
Suitable for:- 2/3 Way Ball, Butterfly & Plug Valves where remote operation is required. The size of the actuator is important to cover the needs of the valve under the stress that is likely to be encountered in the worst condition of service line pressure to be used and the natural stiffness of opening and closing of a valve, even after prolonged lack of use. It is wise to operate valves regularly. Prices of Valve and fixings need to be added to the actuators.

Pneumatic 90 Degree Operation
 Suitable for:- 2/3 Way Ball, Butterfly & Plug Valves where remote operation is required. The size of the actuator is important to cover the needs of the valve under the stress that is likely to be encountered in the worst condition of service line pressure to be used and the natural stiffness of opening and closing of a valve, even after prolonged lack of use. It is wise to operate valves regularly. Three way ball bottom entry ball valves require the ball plug machined at right angles so as take advantage of the 90 degree rotation. Bodies are anodised aluminium & are of simple neat design with spares available. Use clean filtered air always and restrictors for controlling speed of operation. Prices of Valve and fixings need to be added to the actuators.

Spring Return:- Normally Closed (NC) or Normally Open (NO) units are designated with 'SR' suffix. Mounting of this option is directly within the ends of the standard actuator...
Torque figures must be halved, to those given when sizing valve because of the spring. Note must be made that there is a difference between figures of the start & finish of rotation torque. Figures above show figures at the end of travel.. End of stroke travel adjustment is standard on basic actuator.
Limit Box:- Two switches (SPDT) are fitted into this polycarbonate box that conforms to IP66 spec. Adjustable end of travel cams are adjustable with the V3 switches. 10ap switching at 240 volts. Units are suffixed '004' on the main reference. Units are mounted on top of double acting or single acting versions with standard fixings. Single cable entry M20 * 1.4mm connection is standard. Other switch systems available.
Positioner:- 3-15 lbs/ins proportional signal control  controls the amount of opening of the actuator over the same degree on its turning arc. Body is Epoxy coated AL with bronze and stainless inners. Diaphragm is in moulded rubber. Adjustment to range & zero is standard. Special limit range cams available. 4-20mA IP converters can be supplied to adapt to pneumatics. Air consumption at 5.5 bars is 14 l/M. Sensitivity = 7 millibars
General:- All of the above can be mounted together to all the combined functions. Some applications may suit other units.
