Dual Plate Check Valve
Uses: Dual Plate Check Valve used in industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, power generation, and water treatment to prevent backflow and protect equipment, Reduced Water Hammer: The quick closure of the valve helps in reducing the risk of water hammer, which can cause significant damage to piping systems
Functions: The primary function of a dual plate check valve is to ensure fluid flows in one direction and to prevent reverse flow. It achieves this with two spring-loaded plates that open when fluid flows in the correct direction and close when the flow reverses.
Ref: 22M960 - Cast Iron Body (GG25) Epoxy Coated. Ref: 22M961 - SS302/4 Spring and Pin. SS304 plates. Wafer fitting between Flanges PN16 to 400mm and PN10 upwards 450mm to 600mm. The Valve must be used with spindle in vertical position on horizontal lines (Valve can be used in vertical lines also.) Seals are EPDM. All Dual Plate valves may seep.
